Is Express Entry pausing invitations to Canadian Experience Class applicants?

Recently, IRCC has reduced the frequency and scale of Express Entry invitations for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. The last CEC-specific round took place on September 14, 2021. Since then, IRCC held 5 PNP-specific rounds. As of now, the government has invited 112,040 Express Entry candidates in Express Entry and 99,653 of them were invited under the CEC. Since the beginning of 2021, there were no invitations for the Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades candidates. The community of immigration experts hopes the all-program draws may renew in the new year.
