On March 16, 2021, Alberta released a new update about the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
On March 2, 2021, the government held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 200 Notifications of Interest (NOI).
The lowest score in this round was 301 points, 51 points fewer compared to March 2 draw.
In 2021, AINP already invited 709 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry.
As of now, AINP received 2,300 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and 100 Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
These applications are waiting for the eligibility assessment. The 2021 quota for Alberta will be announced later this year.
