On January 13, 2022, the Government of Alberta announced the launch of the Accelerated Tech Pathway (ATP) under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). The new program will support Alberta’s Recovery Plan and provide a workforce of the province with a fast track to permanent residence. Highly skilled tech professionals from across Canada and overseas who have a job offer and want to live and work in Alberta will be fast-tracked and provided permanent residence to solve the labor shortage in the province.
