On December 10, 2019, British Columbia held a new invitation round in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot. The province invited 53 registrants working in the 29 key technology occupations to apply for a provincial nomination in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate. The lowest score in all four categories was 90 points. British Columbia invited 1,461 Tech Pilot candidates this year. In total, BCPNP issued 8,742 ITAs in 2019.
