Due to the outbreak, the opening hours of the Canadian Visa Centres have been limited. Recently, the IRCC has announced that starting from March 9, 2020, the visa application centres in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Jinan, Kunming, Shanghai, and Shenyang will only open to collect biometric information. Other clients are currently unable to access the Visa Application Centre. Until further notice, China's Visa Application Centre will only serve applicants with biometric instructions and valid appointments. Applicants should contact the consultation centre to make an appointment. If you receive an IRCC Passport Notification Letter and would like to submit your passport, please submit it to the Visa Application Centre by mail. As the new coronavirus epidemic continues, applicants are strongly advised to use courier service provided by the Visa Application Centre to return the passport to the required destination address.
