On Feb 5, 2020, Canada held the second draw in the Express Entry in 2020. In round #136, IRCC again issued 3,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA). The Comprehensive Ranking System score in this has increased one point and was 472 points. The tie-breaking rule for this round was Jan 30, 2020, at 07:36:26 UTC.
So far, Canada issued ITAs to 10,300 candidates in 2020. The target for new permanent resident admission through the Express Entry, including Provincial Nominee Program, is expected to rise to 85,800 this year. Express Entry candidates who obtain a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their CRS score and will be reciveing an ITA.
