On May 28, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held an unexpected Express Entry invitation round. In round #150, Canada issued Invitations to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence to 3,515 candidates. This draw was the second-largest Express Entry Draw for CEC since March 15. All invited candidates were eligible for the Canadian Experience Class program CEC, which is open to foreign nationals with at least one year of work experience in Canada. The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System score in this draw was 440 points, a decrease from the last CSC draw that took place on May 15, 2020, with a mark of 447, The tie-breaking rule for this round was March 7, 2020, at 10:36:59 UTC.
This is the seventh draw that issued ITA to candidates eligible under the CEC program, most probably because they are already in Canada during this period of restriction to fly into Canada from other countries.
On May 27, 2020, 328 ITAs were issued to candidates with Provincial Nomination Certificate from the Provincial Nomination Programs (PNP). The CSR score was 757.
